Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

A 4+1 year graduate programme, including one year Compulsory Rotatory Internship. The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the two year PUC of Karnataka State or any other 10 + 2 examination recognized equivalent by RGUHS with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

FDSRCS and FRCS training
The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the first unit in South Asia to be recognized for training of Fellow in Dental Surgery of Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (FDSRCS) Part II examination as well as Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) (Edin.) Part II.
