The A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences offers Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral training facilities. The Institution is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is recognised by the Dental Council of India.

The 5 year Graduate Dental programme offered by the Institute leads to the award of the B.D.S degree of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The programme begins in August of every year and extends over 4 academic years followed by 1 year of compulsory internship. The assessment consists of internal as well as university examinations. The examinations are conducted as per the regulations of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
