All patients will be treated free of charge including hospital stay, surgery cost, food, medicines and travel expenses for the patient as well as bystander. The institute comprises of a dedicated team of surgeons along with duty doctors who are available in the hospital 24 hours a day for complete care of the patient. Under weight babies are provided with nutritional care under qualified pediatricians; anaemic babies are given blood transfusions and made fit for surgery. Post surgery speech therapy is given to the patients so as to enable them to communicate properly. Untreated cleft lip and palate patients suffer from recurrent infections of the throat, ears, nose, sinuses etc. which can even lead to brain infections and even death. Thus at the Institute of Craniofacial Surgery, we aim at not only providing cure for a local condition but holistic treatment for the whole body.
